Hi, I’m Jaymee, the founder of HausMate.

I’ve been surrounded by dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, they were always part of my life, and as soon as I was old enough, I couldn’t wait to have one of my own.

Thirteen years later, my Maltese is still by my side, now living with Cushing’s disease. Along the way, I also adopted an abandoned miniature dachshund at just seven weeks old. They’ve both needed a little extra care, including help reaching the couch, getting into the car and settling into bed beside us.

When I bought my own home two years ago, I wanted it to feel beautiful, clean and welcoming—cream couch included. But I also wanted my pets to enjoy it with me. Muddy paws and messy days are part of life, and after a long day, keeping everything spotless isn’t always practical.

That’s where HausMate began.

I created HausMate for families like mine: people who adore their pets and take pride in their homes. Our products help make those two loves work together, bringing easier access, cosy places to rest and practical protection for the spaces we share.

Because to me, a beautiful home is one my pets can feel at home in too.
